Our Veterinarians

Dr. Becky Smith-Durham

Veterinarian

Dr. Becky Smith-Durham graduated from the University of Missouri in May of 1999. After graduation she started working at the Animal Health Center where she practiced small animal medicine, as well as some avian and exotic for 20 years. She was happy to join the Delta family in January of 2018. She’s married with one daughter, as well as one dog, Piper. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, shopping and traveling.

Dr. Savannah Roach Freshour

Veterinarian

Dr. Savannah Roach Freshour grew up on a small farm in Piedmont, Missouri.

Upon graduating high school she went on to play softball at Three Rivers College and graduated with her Associates of Arts degree in 2015. Her education continued at Murray State University in Murray, KY where she
received her Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Veterinary Medicine. After college Dr. Roach worked full time for an equine veterinarian in Paducah Kentucky before getting accepted into veterinary school at the University of Missouri. Dr. Roach received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in May 2023 from the University of Missouri- College of Veterinary Medicine. She began working for Delta Veterinary Clinic in June of 2023.

Dr. Roach and her husband, Dalton, reside on a farm in Dexter, Mo with their 2 dogs (Annie and Willow), 4 cats (Tarzan, Teddy, Shadow, and Sassy), 3 horses (Nike, Dot, and Rocket), cows, and lots of chickens. In her spare time, she enjoys hunting, fishing, riding horses, camping, and spending time on the lake with family. Dr. Roach has a special interest in ophthalmology, dermatology, equine medicine, and client education. Her favorite thing about veterinary medicine is serving others (both two and four legged) through her strong compassion to make even the smallest difference in their lives.

Jordan

Veterinarian Assistant

Jordan has been in the Veterinary field since 2018. She graduated from East Prairie High School. She now lives in Sikeston and married her husband, Connor, in 2020. They have two beautiful girls named Baylor and Bexley. They also have 3 dogs; Charlie, Boomer, and Minnie. In her spare time, she likes to play outside with her daughters and enjoy spending time at the lake in the summer.

Office Manager

Megan grew up in Sikeston and graduated from Sikeston High School.  Megan has been in the Veterinary field since 2008. She has two daughters and 3 grandchildren. In her spare time, she likes being at the river camping. Her love for animals has overflowed into her home at times. At this time she has a schnauzer Charlie and a cat Cowboy.

Hello! My name is Paige, I’m so happy you’re here! I am a receptionist here at Delta Veterinary Clinic, so you’ll see me as soon as you come in. I have been with Delta Veterinary Clinic since July of 2023 and I enjoy every minute of it. I have a cat named Jasper and he’s 7 years old. He has been a part of my life since the day he was born. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family. Some of my hobbies are cooking/baking, reading, and traveling. My favorite place to go is the beach. Something about reading a good book while you’re listening to the waves soothes the soul! I’m always looking for new things to read and new recipes to try. Sharing new recipes with family and friends is how I show love.

Cindy Stevens

Personal Groomer

Miss. Cindy has been grooming since 1988.  She and her sidekick Sherri have been grooming one pet at a time together the past 20 years. Miss. Cindy is very passionate when it comes to taking care of her clients fur babies, she wants them to be relaxed, clean, and loved when they leave Delta Grooming. She calls this a day at the SPA… Each pet is like her own child, in fact they call her the dog whisperer. She can calm a pet down with love, gentle hands, and being patient. Nothing is quick or fast with her clients’ fur babies. They each get the works… On the weekends you will find Miss. Cindy at the River Camping.

Sherri Blankenship

Groomer Assistant

Sherri has been in grooming since 2003. She is a minister’s wife and a full time mom of three. She spends her free time reading, gardening, and helping out at the church.

Bettie Smith

AM Full Time Kennel Tech

Bettie joined Delta Vet in 1979. She is the go to person when needing to know where something is. Bettie is the person here on weekends and holidays, even with snow & ice. Bettie likes driving her Firebird with the t-tops out through the country side.

Madalyn

Kennel Tech

Madalyn started with Delta Veterinary in 2023. She works as a Kennel Tech in our kennels taking care of our boarding animals. She is a member of FFA, when she’s not at work she likes to hunt and hang out with her friends.
